I was born at the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro where I studied my primary and Secondary education. After school I started working as a porter on Mount Kilimanjaro where my passion to study Tourism started.

I was later employed by a tour company as their supply driver. I would supply camping materials to Serengeti and other parks while being their head of garage at the same time.
